ALL-STATE HONORS
There is no higher honor a band student can receive than to be selected to All-State Band. Seventeen outstanding musicians recently represented Nash-Rocky Mount Schools in the All-State Band Concert in Greensboro. Only 300 students were selected from top band students throughout the 100 counties in North Carolina. Of over 5,000 students who auditioned, fewer than 1% were selected for this prestigious honor.
Selection for All-State Band indicates a superior level of musicianship, discipline, dedication, and perseverance. Congratulations to these outstanding students for their hard work and wonderful achievement. We also salute NRMS band directors for all they have done to create a music program second to none!
